How Treys Haven Began

Treys Haven started in 2024 when we partnered with agencies that already walked beside people in recovery. They had clients searching for safe housing, and we created supervised homes that honored dignity, structure, and healing. Curfews, chores, and meetings were built in, not to control people, but to protect their progress. Our focus became clear, provide a stable, drug-free sanctuary in Indianapolis where residents could practice sober living while rebuilding every area of life.

Our Guiding Philosophy

At Treys Haven, recovery is treated as a daily practice, not a finish line. We emphasize personal responsibility, honesty, and accountability as essential life skills, not just recovery tools. Residents are encouraged to show up consistently, communicate openly, and take ownership of their choices within a supportive community. By balancing clear expectations with empathy, we help individuals build confidence, resilience, and the self-discipline needed to sustain sobriety beyond our doors.

Committed to Growth

We built Treys Haven with expansion in mind, because safe, accountable sober living is still hard to find. Our focus began in Indianapolis, and we are preparing to bring the same structured, compassionate model to Houston. Every house follows the same core values, a zero-tolerance, drug-free environment, active peer support, and steady coaching toward independence. As we grow, we keep listening, learning, and refining our approach so residents experience real progress, not just temporary stability.

Our Everyday Principles

These essential reminders support your progress, helping you stay grounded and focused on your sobriety journey.

One Day at a Time

This reminds you to focus only on staying sober for the next 24 hours rather than worrying about the distant future.

Progress, Not Perfection

It encourages you to value steady growth and effort over the pressure of being flawless.

First Things First

Serves as a constant reminder that your sobriety must remain the top priority over everything else.

Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes

Emphasizes that you must actively change your old habits to achieve a different result in life.

Our Values

We value honesty, accountability, and compassion, and we pair clear rules with genuine, consistent respect.

Our Recovery

Our recovery approach weaves proven principles into daily routines, meetings, and life-skills coaching for residents.

Our Commitment

We stay committed to growth, inclusion, and long-term stability, inviting residents to reclaim independence with support.

Leadership With Lived Care

Our leadership team carries a simple promise, every resident matters. We come together with different backgrounds and stories, yet we share the same conviction that structure, respect, and honest support create real change. We listen first, then we set clear expectations that protect sobriety and dignity. We walk the house, attend meetings, and stay available so residents never feel written off or ignored.

We also value diversity and inclusion, because recovery touches every culture and neighborhood in Indianapolis. Our role is to offer steady guidance, not control, and to model accountability in the same way we ask residents to practice it. When someone moves toward independence, we celebrate with them, knowing that every curfew kept, every shift worked, and every meeting attended helped build that new life.
